Is the boot on either side of the driveshaft ripped? If it's the tcase side you can replace just the head like I did for like $60

The T-case side boot on my prop shaft is gone (most likely the original) when the jeep is in 2wd you don't notice anything wrong. The second you shift into 4wd there is a noticeable clicking noise and pop when the shaft is placed under extreme load. If you are/had experienced any symptoms like these there is a good chance your shaft has the same problems. If the prop shaft is loose it may even be ready to cut loose at any time.

Yesterday I cleaned and degreased the the braking system and suspension components since they were coated in dirt and grime
Image

And I've got an upcoming project, fixing the rear calipers and changing out the pads and rotors

You'll save a lot of money if you can do the hub yourself.
It comes as a whole assembly for the KK. Paid~$700 total at the dealership to have the front done. That was a bad day.

Well I took the wheels off to inspect the damage and here's what i saw.
ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Heres that nasty parking brake which has caused me too many headaches
Image
Looks like it was just a tad bit corroded...
ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Cleaned everything as best I could with a wire wheel then put new pads in.
ImageImageImageImage

Now that I took the parking brake out I've got a clicking noise when I'm rolling which is pretty loud. Nothings hung up on anything idk what could be causing it

Maybe check for a piece of rust in the rotors that may have gotten stuck in there when you were using the wire brush. Also check by the rotors if you have "dust shields" as that is very common on a lot of vehicle to bend and create annoying noises.

My guess is that the part of the parking brake where the cable would attach to the shoes is rattling since its just flopping freely now.

This part right here

By parking brake, do you mean your emergency brake?

Well today I finally got around to changing out the hub assembly.

What do you get when you get a piece of pipe and a 2 foot breaker bar?
Image

One big arsed breaker bar!!
Image

I got massive lulz out of this ratchet and socket combo
Image

Axle nut is off
Image

Stuck bolt? Nothing a maul can't handle!
Image

My nifty caliper holder
Image

So the rotor had these retainers on it that i promptly destroyed to get it off
Image

Safety first! Dont need a rotor flying off at me!
Image

And here's the dirty fused on hub.
Image

So I took a flathead and air comperessor blower to it to clean it. Safety first!
Image

This thing was a bear to get off it did not want to cone off.
Image

Old vs newImage

And after all this i changed the wrong fudging hub!! Ah well i just tell myself theyre both bad and i still need to change the other still.

After having the lift on for a couple thousand miles I figured I'd report on how the ride has been. With the 790's and bilstein's up front it's got a nice and firm controlled ride which I really like (no extra weight up front). The rear is a bit soft but that's due to using older skyjacker springs (I got a used lift) and Rancho oil shocks instead of a gas shock. So basically I have two different ride qualities on my rig. I can tell you right now I like how the front rides more than the back but both ride a hell of a lot better than stock!

Bummer, so that's what happened. If you don't have your heart set on Cragars, you could check out car-part.com and see if there's a junkyard near you or one willing to ship. A used matching OEM wheel will cost way less than a new set of steelies. I picked up a perfectly good 5th rim for my KK for $70 this way.
