Was the explorer 2wd? It wouldn't be a bad idea to air down. Electric compressors only cost like $30 and come in real handy.

His 4wd was broken earlier in the year but he thought it was good to go. Turns out it was still broken lol. And yes I do have to invest in one lol.

So I'm in the process of deciding on which aftermarket diff cover to go with. I'm leaning towards the solid chrysler 8.25 cover as it is 1/2 and 1/3 the price of the other 2 cover I'm looking at (crane and riddler). Once I get the cover in I'm going to do a rubber undercoating of the whole under carriage (the rust cancer is beginning to set in). Which diff cover would you guys go with and how many cans of rubber spray would you guys think I need?

I ran SOLID's on my old YJ, while I never really bashed them into anything hard that I know of, they seemed pretty freaking tough for the money. So thats what I would recommend. I didn't know they made one for the 8.25..used to be just crane that was the only one that made aftermarket 8.25 diff covers like that right?

I was actually looking at the solid and they make one for the 8.25 now, so I might just go with that since it's cheaper then the riddler or crane.

That thing looks bullet proof! Can't wait to order one up next pay check. Then once that comes in I'm changing out my diff and t-case fluids and painting the under carriage with a rubber coating.

Alright I'll be ordering my lift within the next few months :pepper: . So I'm just going to post what I've got in my JBA cart so far:

Ironman Coil Spring set LR "C"

JBA 4" rear springs

Al's UCAs

Bilstein HD front and rear shocks

JBA top plates

Extended front bumpstops

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the lift you want but I see you have the glasspack what's your opinion on it I was thinking on going a true dual eventually and getting 2 glasspacks but don't know how they sound on the 3.7

I wanted an ARB but seeing how they have not released it yet I went with the Crane. Now when the ARB finally comes out I will be buy that and selling my Crane

Looks like someone's gonna be setting a little higher. Where in the world did you find a used lift?
