Their great! Good price only $80 with my employee discount at pepboys. Downside is they're a pain to install since they aren't as thin as the slimlights and can't get a good angle to install them on the bumper. Other then that, the wiring was easy, they work great the light is far-reaching (much much farther then just the high-beams and much brighter) and overall a good product.

Just be careful where you drill them into the bumper as some spots are harder to get to from under the bumper then others. I actually had to fab new washers for the shock bushing since there was not enough space for the one that came with it.

Here's the location of each of my led strips. They're all wired to the controller, I got the kit online the manufacturer is LEDGLOW, they've got plenty of different options for led kits, the one I have has 15 different options I can have the led's do i.e. strobe, fade in and out, go with the music etc.

Did a little wheeling today.

Me and my buddy's exploder.

Some of the Pine Barrens wonderful foliage.

Some busted up tires.

One big ol' puddle.

Here I go!

Here's a rainmade lake.

Look's like someone abandoned ship.
Image

Image

Just a tad muddy.
Image

Hmm that sand looks a little soft...
Image

Image

Someone dug a hole.
Image

The exploder's custom headlights.
Image

And this is what happens when you park in soft sand, you get stuck.
Image
Image

The aftermath of getting out. (wish I took a pic of the sand flying)
Image

Image

Here's where we stopped, we didn't know how deep it was and decided to turn back. (neither of us had a winch)
Image

You'd think he learned the first time what happens when you park in soft sand.

Liberty to the rescue!
Image

He decided after a little tow that he was good to go... Well he was wrong. Liberty to the rescue again!
Image

The exploder trying to turn around.
Image

Libby patiently waiting. 8)
Image

And he gets stuck again.
Image

After an hour of watching him try to get out, I got out the tow strap and pulled him out again and headed home. Liberty 3, Exploder 0.

Didn't have to really. The main trail was packed down dirt only spots less traveled were soft sand.

Was the explorer 2wd? It wouldn't be a bad idea to air down. Electric compressors only cost like $30 and come in real handy.

Easy fix, make a small metal extension tab to take them out a littler further from the grille.
