Nobody had lockers or onboard air so we didn't air down. We pretty much were getting stuck on purpose to see who could go further without getting stuck lol |

Coming springtime I will be modding the jeep since I will have more funds available to me and will no longer be in school. One of those mods just got moved up to being done asap seeing as how my UBJ's up front have a scary amount of play in them. So I will be replacing with JBA UCA's within the next week or so. My stock UCA's lasted over 2 full years of being lifted 3" so I think it's finally time to do the swap. |

The UCA's came in today and I honestly don't know why I waited this long to get them. Pictures just don't do them justice to how beefy they are. The customary Jesus DVD And the arms themselves like I said the pictures don't do them justice Sent from my iPhone using the power of children's laughter |

Post some pictures during install and try to note if it feels better while driving. It'll be nice being able to get the alignment correct now. |

I already know it'll feel better while driving since the balljoints are darn near about to pop out of their sockets. |

Got around to doing them today. Finished the driver's side before work then the passenger and alignment at work. It's scary and awesome how tight the front end is now. Just shows just how bad my balljoints were. Taking it apart. Comparison Look at this crazy angle they were at And finally installed Sent from my iPhone using the power of children's laughter |

Glad to see all the upgrades! Your KJ is in much better shape now than when you got it a couple of years ago. |

Only problem during the install was the driver rear arm bolt which made me want to punch a baby, and lol it was in good shape when I got it a few years ago I just beat the piss out of it and now am fixing all the problems that have come up from that |

Post subject: | Re: My KJ in progress |
I had to redo my wheel bearings and axle seals since the seals I used the first time were SKF and not Timken and were leaking like a sieve. It was relatively clean in here but the oil was pretty milky, idk if the water got in from the bad seals or breather so I extended the breather up to the gas filler neck just to be safe. As for the 4 link. I have to cut down the threads on the arms as they also use it in their 6 in kit. So when I went to install it after work my pinion angle was so extreme my springs were about to fall out. Besides fitting the joints in the bracket which was a pain it's a very easy install. Here it is with that extreme angle There you can see all the exposed thread which shouldn't be visible Sent from my iPhone using the power of children's laughter |

Got it installed today at work. It only took about 35-40 minutes tops to do. So a bit about how it rides now, alls I can say is holy **** this thing is solid now. There's absolutely no play or sway at all in the booty end now, it's planted as hell and it's absolutely awesome. So for those of you who are interested in it, you will have to cut an inch of thread off of each side of the arm for fitment unless Marlin makes a set of arms specifically for this kit. It's not that big of a deal just get a chop saw or angle grinder with a metal cutoff wheel and itll make short work of it. Now on to the porn! Alot better than having them fall out without those cut threads I'd say Sent from my iPhone using the power of children's laughter |
