I went up to the offroad park a few weeks ago. I pulled in and I believe I was the only stock vehicle there. I started to get worried I was going to destroy my brand new jeep. Turned out great though. I completed the coal mine tour which is the green trails.

Yes the next day I ordered my lift which I just recently installed along with new tires. Now I want skids and a roof rack.. possible the detours backbone for a winch. I have the bug.

Looks like fun. I'm glad to see the KK performed so well in the mud with stock tires. Good job!

I was worried as well. When I got there they were looking at me funny. I also did not have any dedicated tow points.

I was very surprised how well it handled the steep hill climbs and extremely rocky terrain. I had very minor scraping on my front diff. The liberty proved it is not just a mall crawler.

Was that your wife/GF with you? It's hard to tell from the picture. If so how'd she like it? I took my wife off roading with me once and never again. Scared her to death  :dead: . lol

Well I am glad I am not the only one who experienced this. We did the coal mine tour. So we covered a HUGE portion of the green trails. We only stopped briefly at different mines. Needless to say the rough ride was not her favorite. Also coming down one decent I took the wrong line. I was three wheeling coming down it and I nearly rolled it onto the driver side. She was very upset and we had to stop and shake it off. I was a bit scared myself.

So x3 for me. She won't be going back unless I talk her into it.

It was my wife with me too. My best friends wife and another buddies girlfriend came along and they both liked it. Guess it just depends on their comfort level with the banging around, lack of bathrooms and most of all no comprehension of why "we" enjoy going off road.

Her comment on my new tires " there just tires I don't see the difference" is very telling to our wives views of our hobby.

The tires make the whole jeep look better. Anyhow just venting, only a jeep enthusiast would understand. Hence the jeep forum :)

I have been in the market for some new shoes for a while, and she says the same thing, they all look the same! I have shown her pictures of different wheels and sizes of tires, the only time she notices a different is if they are black wheels LOL

nice pics nice too see you had fun too.... I went up a few years ago with my stock KJ CRD. I was the only stock and only diesel there. they all made my jeep look small. I did do all the green trails we took. the group I went with basically split up in two groups. the wild modded jeeps went to the tougher trails and broke stuff on their rigs and the rest went on green tails. At the time I only had the factory mopar skids and new AT tires. I did fine just had to skip some more advanced optional obstacles.

I'd like to go and do those trails again sometime now that I have a little lift.
