For the most part it's stock. I just got it lifted last Wed. The rear is sitting at 23" and the front is around 22" after the alignment and it being on for a week. The front will go up a little more once I get the clevis spacers put on since they didn't get put on during the install (don't ask  ).

Sorry the pics suck. I usually do not get off work until it's already dark out.

Here it was before

Here it is the night the install was complete. before alignment

and with my son when we got home the other day after getting it alligned.

They are all crappy cell pics. sorry.

I plan on getting a set Black Rock wheels and some tires next since I am just on stock wheels/tires so it looks kind of weird.

Thank you!
I forgot how expensive this hobby was. :-)r In my mind I was like "yeah I'll lift it, tomorrow get some rims and tires, the next day go grab a new bumper" etc.

My salary doesn't quit match up to my imagination.

I went with the 0.375 Celvis spacer with the kit (which didn't get installed  and will be this weekend)

The ride is amazing. I was expecting it to be really rough since I went with the Heavier duty springs because I knew I'd be putting a heavier bumper on but it is 100 times smoother and nicer than it was before the lift. Even if it had no lift at all just the ride quality alone would have been worth it.

Good to hear, glad I'm not the only one who thinks the Ironman front springs ride great

Thanks I think I was checking this late last night and they might be down for maintaince , anyways the kit looks good did it come with rear shocks too and did you cut your CV axels ? How do you rate the ease of install ?

Yes. like the site says. Billstein 5100 rear shocks (You will probably get the universal 5150 which is the exact same thing). Should also get a bushing kit as well from JBA for those for bolting up the top of the shock.

no cutting of my CV at all. not to say I won't but at this time no.

As far as the ease of install. SUPER easy. I didn't even break a sweat.. Matter of fact I didn't even get off the couch.... The guy that worked at the shop who installed it didn't seemed to think it was a PITA though. but I won't go there as I'm not to happy with that whole situation at the moment.

I actually really wanted to take it on myself. I learn things by doing them and never did a lift before so wanted the knowledge. Unfortuanetly since my divorce I now do not have a garage to use and live in an apartment where they have a strict rule of no working on vehicles in the parking lot.

Honestly I don't think the install would be to hard. From what I was told the hardest part was gettig the HD front springs compressed. like a 7 hour job maybe... possibly less.

Not a hard job at all and after a few its a 3 hour job on the average
KJs are one of the easiest to lift I think as far as time and overall work involved

Since your the master of lifting KJ's I'll be sure to take the 15 or so hour drive over there so I can get the pros to do it and get it done quickly and the right way

So next question is how many hours did the shop bill you and what rate?

Really love the yellow spring and red arms peeking thru....

Post subject:  Re: My KJ, Just got it lifted

I was billed for 8 hours even though it took them longer. $75 an hour. If you have a shop do it I HIGHLY recommend you chose the shop wisely and hope you got more options to chose from then I did in your area.

I was only expecting to spend on the high side $400. I left spending over $600(after tax and cost to take it for alignment) and having to spend more money to replace a control arm due to them installing the ylink wrong and after that i still dint have the clevis spacers installed. Needless to say ill be eating just Ramen Noodles for a while.

I think I paid $200 to get my lift installed.

Looks great!
