This liberty is my girlfriend's. I was going to the badlands for my birthday, in my explorer, and actually talked her into taking it. I have never wheeled a liberty yet, so I went to the ramp to see what it would do. Not to bad for a stock rig with the sway bars connected. So I started out in the sand. You would not believe how scared she was doing this! But, she was building confidence.
Then we headed to a steep down hill. At this point she was really pleased with the capability of here new jeep. At the bottom of the hill, there is a creek that runs through the park. I decided to teach her how to crawl over rocks with all of the tires.

Then with a little persuasion, I talked here into running a 40ft rock garden. It took about 25 minutes but she made it. After teaching here how to use the vehicle, she let me try out the little oil burner. First, I took it to the sand hills. In low range and in drive with od off, the libby was a rocket. I had so much fun throwing the vehicle around in the sand. The exhaust does need modified to help with the turbo lag though. If there were less people around, I would have put it in 4 high and try longer distance at higher speeds. Then I headed to the truck area. Here a flex pick and a few others of the same area.
At this point I handed my girlfriend here keys back and didn’t think I would drive get to drive it again. So, I wheeled my explorer with 265 75 16s a little.

Right after this picture, about three feet ahead the explorer gets hung up to the right of the large rock. So, I got another chance to drive the liberty! I was actually unable to pull the explorer off the rock. So, I moved behind the explorer to try from there. The problem was that there was a large rock in the way. So, I hooked a chain up and pulled it out of the way. Then with one yank the explorer was free. It was a great trip and birthday. Enjoy the picks!

I hope your girlfriend had the factory skid plate group/package. I was just out there and my transfer case skid and passenger side Boulder Bar took a heck of a hit in the creek from submerged boulders.

I just got done repainting all the skids and boulderbars this weekend.
