I have a build thread over on JF, but it seems like alot of the KJ guys don't do one. I feel like whoring my rig out so here we go. First off, being a wrangler guy, I was never fond of the KJ. After owning one, I love the darn thing!

Bought my 03 Kj Limited 4wd for $400 from my sister and brother and law. Long story short, they hit the ditch avoiding a deer and since it was paid off they retired it from dd status. They assumed there was a bunch of front end damage. They still took pretty good care of it and drove it once a week or so, just to make sure nothing got gunned up. My TJ got totaled by a drunk driver, and it was also my dd. I asked my sister about the KJ, and my brother in law told me about the "damage" and said it was mine for $400.

Here's my TJ the day before it was totaled. It had a 4.7, 32rh, etc...a bunch of money tied up into it. Sad, because I finally considered it "temporarily done."

Here it is the day I bought it. Stock as hell with 185k on the clock.

The next week the radiator cracked. No biggie, I've had $400 rigs that were alot worse.

I drove it for awhile, and after a bunch of price shopping I decided it was time for an altitude adjustment. OME springs, bilstein struts, Dakota rear bilsteins, Moog UCA's, Moog lower bj's, Power Stop rotors/pads, Moog rack bushings, front d-shaft head, and pinion seal Once I saw what 185k miles does to a KJ, I replaced whatever I found bad, so I might have left some things out. It got expensive quick, and the wife wasn't happy.

Trashed stock junk

Moog lower bj's. These things are beefy. One of them weight more then both of the stock TRW jobs.

Front done

Rear done & new rotors/pads

Here's how she sat the day after the lift

The rake was alot more noticable in person, and it really got on my nerves. So I did 3 ring clevis.

Basically that's how she sits currently. I've done a bunch of other mods, and I might post a few pics of those later
