I've only had this Jeep for a couple months but, IT IS a Jeep. I will take an angle grinder and welder to it.

Have you figured out how you are going to fill that void where the factory running light and turn signals were located.
Do you not have tire rub with running 245/75/16 tires?
Your KK look great!! Can't wait to see how the bumper swap works out.

I'm playing with a few ideas to beautify that area between the new bumper and the fender flare. I will cut off all the sheet metal that extends out over the tire. I have some black textured HDPE sheets that I'm going to make a "wall" that covers from the headlight back. This will keep the tire from flinging mudd and rocks into the engine bay. I'll probably cut the flares straight across and leave a gap between the top of the bumper and the flare. I'm converting the optional fog lamp area in the headlight housing into turn signal lamps.

As far as rubbing goes, there is slight rubbing in the rear at full compression. No rubbing in the front. But I did flatten the pinch welds and my oem bumper is modded. I did that before the tires so I don't know how much rubbing I wou have had.

I really like the way that looks, There are alot of options for stubby stock jk bumpers. On a side note free jk front and rear bumpers in Mystic CT.
Maybe you could trim the fenders flat, and mock up some type of simple headlight filler and use jk or similar headlights... And now for the worst paint mock up ever

Well I,m glad I'm not the only one that likes it. I have it installed now and I pretty much did what you suggest.

I haven't gotten the turn signals in where the factory fogs go and I cut the JK bumper into a mid width.

Pics will be up soon... :JEEPIN:

You have some guts! Cutting and hacking at a 2010 KK, virtually a BRAND NEW Jeep.
The Jeep looks KILLER!!!

Can you get some side shots and possibly a video?
