well I went and got stuck real goot( as Edwin would say) A friend told me of a mud hole and I thought I'll go and have some fun with my brother. First pass thru no problem coming back thru and uh-oh we are not moving forward captain and I'm giving her all she's got. Yup we are stuck right and proper, tried shoving rocks and wood under and still spinning in the water. Finally my bro got ahold of a friend who has a big 4x4 ford  to help get us un-stuck. Moral of the story don't go out alone and get better tires.

Or get a shovel! Never underestimate what you can do with that given enough time and energy.

Looks like fun!

Getting stuck is only half the fun. Getting it out and saying I know I could have made it throught that. Turning around and getting stuck again is the other half.

Happier? :P

Was actually trying to stay clean that night. I did u-turn out in the country and the grass looked firm in the ditch, so I took it wide (the KJ cries if it's on the road too long, so even little jaunts keeps it happy!). Anyway, the grass was covering 7" of water and all the slop below it. I framed it.

MT/R's are NOT the best sloppy-mud tire BTW, but accel at everything else IMO. Enough work (and banged up gears) and you can un-frame a stuck KJ. By the time I got out (36m?), I had a crowd making bets...I heard a few moans.

That is a nice long mud hole. Kudos for trying with the stock tires. Next time go way faster.

Be very careful in deep, soupy mud and water, as the tranny will take a drink if you stop moving.

I'd reccommend pulling out your tranny dipstick and look at the fluid on it. If it looks milky at all then chnge your tranny fluid immediately.

Other than that, awesome pics! I've enjoyed playing in the mud in the past, but I don't really do it anymore as it's such a pain to clean it out. I still get nasty black Paragon (ORV park in PA) mud out of some parts of my frame if I stick the hose up there, and it's been well over a year since I've wheeled up there.

Jeremy,
That's what you get for cleaning it! I was washing mine the other day and noticed that there's a hole on the top of the liner by one of my rear wheels. What in the heck did that? Yeah, I'm not going to look anymore.

Nanette: With the way you drive who knows what caused it! Just kidding! Hehehe...

I don't have any holes, but my rear bumper is barely attached and both flares on the drivers side aren't looking too good anymore. Maybe I should stop bouncing them off of large rocks?

 I know how ya feel. I guess we could go around the rocks but what fun is that?

You know that black plastic part on top of the rear bumper? There's two pieces and the curved part that's under the spare? My right side is just sitting there, it's the closed door that keeps it on. It's like $110 bucks for that one section. Looks pretty good just sitting there. I think that's what screws or silicone is for.
