I'm no stranger to sand.
Grew up in Sandlake OR, and have driven many vehicles in the sand dunes, that should have never been there.
My wildest exploit involved a heavily rusted one of these:
325hp small block and posi-rear end. Crazy thing would go anywhere I pointed it, until I jumped it all wrong and snapped a tie rod end.
Sure got lots of attention.
Had to have my pop tow me out with one of these.
The attention I'd gotten was NOTHING compared to him.
Picture the wagon having it's nose lifted by the 3pt hitch chained behind the tractor, hauling it up the tallest dune there. Me, in the station wagon, hanging on praying the tractor didn't flip over backwards. That thing was light-nosed even without having the wagon behind it.
