Your Jeep is looking good. it's a mega cheap amazon special version of the Curt rack (mine is the generic version) less than $100 delivered. got it when I was pretty much broke or I would have gone for something a bit nicer, though it holds what I need for camping and supports accessories decently so im happy with it for now. and thank you |

Dirus wrote: Guess I should start a thread here about this project. anyone have success trimming the wheel wells enough to fit 255/75/17's? been looking around this forum and not seen any clear answers on this. 2.5" lift and 1.5" adapter spacers are what I would be working with... I see 2014-current Rubicon wheels with good tires come up on CL around here all the time for under $1K, but they need to fit! 255-75-17s are a 32 inch tall tire, with that size you need at least 4 inches of lift and 4.10 gears Don't know what you have as far as height but doesn't look like 4 inches, measure and report bakc ( from middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare in front) Current JK wheels are 5on 5 bolt pattern and do not fit our 5 on 4.5 as you know so no go. And they are being sold cheaper than that even due to no one wants them But lots more lift and regear if you want to run that size, no trimming of the wheelwells is going to help with that size tire |

I can adapt to the 5x5 bolt pattern easy enough but it would space out the wheels from the hubs a bit too... Thanks for the feedback, unfortunate those CL deals won't fit on the liberty at all. Would have to swap the front axle to a solid setup to do a 4.5" lift I suspect. |

I ended up getting wheels with the spacing I wanted so did not need the spacers |

sure the wheels are Pro Comp Series 31 Alloy Wheels http://www.autoanything.com/wheels-rims ... loy-wheels 16x8 5x4.5 and the tires are Pro Comp AT Sport Tires http://www.autoanything.com/tires/pro-c ... port-tires 245/75R16 you will need to do some wheel well altering and pinch weld flattening or they rub, I have a 2.5" lift |

Tore the jeep apart on Sunday, installed a snorkel and got 90% done with the winch bumper All in a day's work Not being able to use the stock fog lights is a surprise... not happy about needing to order ARB lights and looms to work on a KJ that had stock fog lights... Anyway, will post more when it's all together |

Haha.... only put it on there remembering with my old military truck I would sometimes find mud holes that were far deeper than I expected. Didn't want my turbo to help hydrolock me in a hurry. Though if it helps me spot orcas, I won't complain |

Anyway, will post more when it's all together Older ARB bumpers for the 05-07 could re use the old fogs. You got a newer kind that uses the 02-04 housing size, guess they wanted one style to cut at the factor. Your liberty looks just like mine...except my snorkel is sitting at my parents garage in Phoenix waiting for me lol |

no, it's a prototype (ish) tire carrier mod on another bumper put together by rocklizard, not a lot made of this style |
