I found this 05 Liberty CRD searching the Internet back in May 2017. From the photos it looked very clean and only had 47k miles. Only problem was the seller was a dealership 850 miles away. After making several phone calls, faxes, and mailing a check this KJ was finally mine. I hired a trucking company to have it delivered. Until then I had only seen it by photo, but I certainly wasn't disappointed. After spending countless hours reading forums (Thank You!) and working on several upgrades my CRD for the most part has become everything I wanted. This is most of what I have done so far- Suncoast torque converter, Transgo shift kit, Cummins lift pump, updated fuel filter head, 02 gasser air box mod, FF Dynamics electric cooling fan, 83' Renault Alliance 195 thermostat, replaced cracked intercooler, Samco silicone CAC hoses, Green Diesel Engineering Turbo Kit with ECM Tune, Old Man Emu lift kit with HD springs, JBA upper control arms, upper and lower ball joints, outer tie rod ends, American Racing wheels, BF Goodrich P245 65R17 AT TA tires, MBRP Stainless Exhaust. Near future plans are Sasquatch weeks Intake elbow kit stage 1, Provent CCV mod, GDE Trans Tune, off to find a dyno. It seems 30+ MPG’S capable. Even with my serious lead foot problem I currently obtained 26 mpg mixed city/highway driving.
