Hey, I really don't want to lift my new Renegade right now, but would like to get some BFG All-terrains. Can any of you guys post pics of your KJ with these tires? Please post your tire size as well. 225/75R16, or 235/70R16 are the tire sizes I am looking at, but I would consider other sizes so long as I don't have to deal with rubbing issues. My off roading is very light, commuting on the beach, and a few logging roads. Thanks, Brigrat... |

245/70/16 but a 1 inch lift should fit without a problem

I keep reading that they will fit, but every picture I have seen of the fitting was on a pre-lowered 2002. I have yet to meet anyone who has them without rubbing on a 2003 or later. |

I should know in the next few weeks, I am going with that size on my 2005. Just need to find time to get up to the tire place. |

That size, or that specific tire? I know there are a few people who were running 245/70R16s before getting a lift. See this thread: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=8378&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= |

Check the link below for my cardomain. I'm running 245/70R16 BFG AT's, with no lift. The only rubbing I get is in the rear when it's fully stuffed - the noise is a bit annoying, but it's nothing major. |

Hey man, I just slapped on the BFG AT/KO's on my stock KJ 03 sport. I am spinning 225/75/16 When they were installed, I noticed that if I went with the next size up, I would be rubbing on my front pinch weld. I weent for a jog in the woods over the weekend and did not have any rub what so ever. I would not go larger then the 225/75/16 on the stock with out a lift. Here is a picture but its not a close up. I will upload one later today for you to see the differant positions of the tire in the wells. Jeep Dawg |

I ran 245/70 16 Destination A/Ts on my '05 Renegade before my lift and rubicon wheels. No rubbing or problems at all. Here's a pic: [/i]

I have the full install available on my photobucket if you want to see more with that tire size and how they fit. |

You guys are all great! I am debating. I can't decide if I am going to go 225/75R16 right now, or wait 6 months, and go for a frankenlift, with 245/75R16. |
