After a near-total lack of cooperation from the weather, the CRD is finally lifted :D

This one is 98% commuter, so the lift is pretty mild - a 1.5" OME with HD springs up front and long-travel shocks in the rear. However, there was also some bulletproofing done at the same time: JBA lifted front upper A-arms and an IRO WJ short rear upper A-arm with WWDiesel's diff mount bracket. Brake discs & pads as well as inner & outer tie rod ends were also replaced, as were the rear lower control arms, all spring isolators, and front lower ball joints. If something could be upgraded and/or made greasable, it was done.

The end result is pretty subtle, which for now is fine - if I ever decide to go bigger, there's already a good foundation to build on. Based on how badly the OEM suspension had sagged, net gain was about 3" in the front and 4" in the rear; in absolute terms over stock, it's probably around 2" at the front and 2.5" at the rear.

Next stop: skidplates and front tow hooks. And let me know if you find the Easter Egg :SOMBRERO:

Two of your "JEEP" wheel centers are missing?

Yep, as well as a lug nut cover. No idea where they went, but at some point both of them went AWOL while driving. They're not the Easter Egg, though :)

I have a drawing for a very nice home made skid plate that covers everything from under the rear engine crossmember back to past the transfer case. It protects the engine oil filter which is in a very vulnerable location.

Most any fab shop could produce it.
Uses existing bolt holes in the two cross members.

LOST emblem instead of trail rated badges?

It's too blurry. I can't tell for sure.

Your right, the left emblem says "Trail Rated", but the right emblem says something different I think but is so distorted can't make it out.

I saved the pic and zoomed it, can't say what is written in it. Anyway, it's not the "original" trail rated badge.

I'll confirm that it is, in fact, the Mall Rated badge :SOMBRERO:

It's much easier to make out on my phone, for some reason. Either way, well done to you both!

Oh, and I have a matching one for the driver's side - just need to get around to removing the Trail Rated badge first ;)

OME, both springs and shocks. Have run them on my last 3 Jeeps and really wouldn't use anything else.
