Here's a pic of my new KJ. It's stock for now, but I'm making a list of what I want to get done to it. If you've got suggestions, let me have'em! I'm a KJ newb, so any and all suggestions are welcome.

Recommendation for first three mods:

1. Full skids
2. Lift kit (rockfather or frankenlift, if you want to wheel hardcore; any of the others if you are mostly for the look)
3. Much larger tires (15" rockcrawler rims will make for cheaper tires, and an overall better deal)

1) full skids (someone in denver has a set for sale i saw)

2) rock lizard skink sliders (local again - no shipping)

3) tow hooks - front & rear

looks like you can be up and running with the local LOST boys for under $500

You're KJ is as custom or personal as you want it to be. What do YOU want to do with it would be the best question to ask.....being in Colorado, I would hope hitting the trails

If so....most importantly, protect your undercarriage with skid plates and rock rails, and get some tow points for when you get stuck or hung up on something....happens quite a bit....other than that, other things will come as you see you'll need it (lift, tires, etc..) but to start out its best to protect your rig from damage while you learn the ins and outs of off-highway driving.

By the way.....love the color!

Have fun!
