You're right Spike, all those Yankees don't know what they're missing! Although it is nice up north, I wouldn't leave Texas for anything. |

This Yankee spent two years in Paris, TX and didn't care too much for the state....except for the Dallas-Ft Worth area. |

I stopped at a gas station about 25 miles into Texas and, without thinking, gave the guy some extra change for sales tax on a soda. He put his arms on the table and sternly told me "He don't need no sales tax." He traumatized me from ever going back to Texas. Plus, you know, there's that whole "I'm Arkansan so I can't like the Longhorns" thing.

I have only been to Big Bend once, about 20 years ago, and I did not do any off-roading. How do you access these roads? |
