I realized something during the recent outage... I really like this place. So I have two questions...

1. Is the Paypal info and method to apply on pg 1 here accurate? I didn't feel like surfing throgh 20+ pages to find a possible updated or different answer.

2. With the recent recovery and nearing updates (according to Heather) to the site, is this a bad time to make a request? If so, waiting is not a problem.

yea, everything on page one is correct. shouldnt be a problem with getting a membership now... i wouldnt think :wink:

Only problem you might run into when submitting a Lifetime Membership request is that Wally is frequently travelling for business and it may take a bit for him to get back to you. Other than that the info should still be valid. And it might not be a bad idea to wait until, oh, this weekend to be sure it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of things.

I think everything for the Lifetime section is up and running ok. Go ahead and make your request or send in your paypal. I am actually finished traveling until the first of the year. I am completely caught up on all requests now and all packages have been mailed except for one Canada one which will go out this week.

The member that takes care of the packets has to travel a lot for work so it sometimes takes a little while to get them. Just be patient and remember its not like ordering something on Amazon where they have a ton of paid employees to fulfill your order. It's all done on a volunteer basis. Not trying to bag on your here, I just want to put things in perspective for anyone that might read this thread.
