If you have any info on a custom lift (including modifications to your existing aftermarket lift) or other lift available to the public, please post info on it. As a favor to those searching this thread will be cleaned of any "fluff" posts and only the informational posts will remain to make it easier to sift through for information. Thanxs!

All J Products - 2.5" Frankenlift (Front Only) ($490)

Old Man Emu - for an OME lift you need 4 coils and 2 rear shocks and 2 front struts, can be found at www.dpgoffroad.com (you would need to call 316-776-9900) $72ea coil and OME 132 rear shocks from Rustys for $40 ea. and Rancho struts from Summit for $85. Also consider: three 2" conduit nuts for the clevis and one extra rear upper iso and you will need new front bumpstops you can get them from terraflex for $20 ea and by doing this gain right at 3". The OME132 shocks arent the long version the long version is about twice as much and going this way you won't dont need new bump stops bc the stock ones will still work but if you do get the longer ones some hockey pucks can be used for rear bumpstops.

KJ Cherokee 2.5" Old Man Emu (SuperRide) System ($1,150.00) (Australia)

2 - OME Front HD Coil Springs
2 - OME Rear HD Coil Springs
2 - Front HD Nitrocharger Suspension Struts/Absorbers
2 - Rear HD Nitrocharger Shock Absorbers

"This system offers exceptional ride and on road stability while remaining one of the best off-road systems available. Will only allow fitment of standard tires with clearance at full travel. This system dose not require a Slip Yoke Eliminator or drive train modifications for fitment.

KJ Cherokee 3.5" Old Man Emu (SuperRide) System ($1,440.00) (Australia)

2 - OME Front HD Coil Springs
2 - OME rear HD Coil Springs
2 - Front HD Nitrocharger Suspension Struts/Absorbers
2 - Front Strut Spring Base Relocation Collars
2 - Front HD Nitrocharger Suspension Struts/Absorbers
4 - Rear Upper & Lower Spring Spacers

"This system offers exceptional ride and on road stability while remaining one of the best off-road systems available. When combined with sway bar disconnects, this system offeres tremendous wheel travel. Will allow fitment of 245/75/R16 tires with clearance at full travel. Again this system does not require a Slip Yoke Eliminator or drive train modifications for fitment."

"Wheel alignment on the KJ at these heights is critical and must be conducted post suspension fit. If incorrectly aligned the lower control arm (wishbones) on the KJ will collide with the vehicles chassis rails. A large press is also required to disassemble and reassemble the vehicles front strut assembly. It is highly recommended that this system be installed in-house, or by one of our recommended installers."

NOTE: I DID NOT BARGAIN SHOP!

NOTE: Install prices vary from shop to shop depending on their install/labor per hour rates. They usually vary from $200 to $800 for a complete install, again depending on shop and the complexity of lift.

TJM of Australia now provide their XGS Gold suspension system (shocks and springs) for the KJ. Ironman of Australia also do a KJ kit available through JbA in the US.

Koni do front and rear shocks (I believe it's the RAID model - check with TonyCRD who has them) and King Springs do springs (surprise) for the KJ, but I don't know the spring weights.

In Germany, I believe the company is called Terrafirma and they do a KJ kit - I don't know the weights again, but the website indicates that the lift is a fairly modest 1.5"

One worth of mentioning is German H&R. They make 40mm (1.5') lift springs for KJ and 25-40mm (1-1.5') for some other Jeep models.

H&R is German sport spring manufacturer, mostly concentrating in lowering sets but also making mild lifts for some 4x4s. Their products come all with TÜV certificat and their reputation here in Europe is excellent. I contacted them via email given in their Homepage concerning specs of KJ front springs and reply came in few hours. Their products are commonly available via Ebay and in many tuning shops around the globe.

In H&R Homepage Product Finder Jeeps are under "Chrysler".
