Hello there,
Daniel here, live in Ontario, canada, just picked up a 04 Renegade, have few questions about my new jeep. I'm an experienced off roader, had a yj with lift gears, etc.. had an XJ with lift, throttle body, other mods.... etc.. my questions are:

1. Can i buy headers and where for my new toy?
2. supercharger/turbo? had my XJ stroked so now you understand where my question is coming from...
3. K&N?
4. Cams?
5. Exhaust, and what size? Brand? Did you notice anything?
6. Transmission shift points?
7. HIDs?
8. DRLs? are they running on low beams?or high beams?
9. Angles on the drivetrain, i had constant problemem with vibrations on my XJ, had SYE, tom woods DS, shims, etc... never got rid of those fully, how is it with liberties?
10. How do Liberties behave lifted?
11. What is the gas milage like with 31s?
12. Any places, web sites that would have an FAQ like Naxja website about KJs?

First off Welcome...secondly..Hopefully I can answer some if not all your questions...

1. Check this link in the 4x2/Performance KJ section, there are also other threads about many otehr performance options in there too, KY Liberty seems to be quite the knowledgable guy in that realm of the KJ

2. There was a supercharger for the 3.7 but not sure it panned out that well and was stopped I believe, again KY Liberty is teh guy to talk to about that sort of thing, and also check out the 4x2/Performance Section.

3. Yes and I have one...lots of people say it isn't good for the throttle body and otherwise since it leaves quite a bit of deposit in the system, I check mine regularly and I haven't seen any build up yet and it has been on for nearly 9K miles.

4. and 5. Check the 4x2/Performance section for lots of threads on these topics...you should hopefully find what your looking for, if not, just ask in there and i'm sure someone will chime in with a decent response...

6. and 7. and 8. To be honest not sure about this...check the electronics section or again the 4x2/Performance section perhaps.

9. Angles can be a problem if you get higher then 3.5-4" I believe...currently with my 2.5" lift there are no issues with vibration, I know some people have altered their setup completely, Wally comes to mind, but others have also upgraded there Dana setups accordingly to help with vibration that might incur with the larger lifts.

10. I love it with hte lift, my first KJ was a lot bumpier a ride and when I upgraded to my current KJ with a lift the ride, toe me, smoothed out and feels better. Of course sitting higher though means you gotta watch the quickness around the corners a bit closer... but i have no complaints with my lift and teh ride quality

11. I have 30.1" tires and I get roughly 13.9-14.8 mpg in the city with stop and go driving. I also have a roof basket too that holds my spare tire so that can alter the figure some I'm sure.

12. This is as good a site as any I think, if there is anything you want to know and can't seem to find feel free to ask and someone will guide you to something you can use to help. For good tech articles on how to work around your KJ the Tech Section below has lots of good articles in it with links to other sites that contain more information. Also just asking around seems to work best formost people.

Your last question has me thinking we need to get together a better FAQ section here perhaps...then again I haven't looked through it that well lately, so maybe just a little rearranging or gathering here and there might do the trick.

Hopefully that will help you out or at least get you started. Also I see that you are in Canada, give the following site a looksy, most of the members are all based in Canada around the Toronto area.
KJ Expeditionary Group They do a lot of trail rides and gatherings so maybe you can meet-up with some of them if your close enough.
