I'm new in the forum! I say hello to everybody from Athens!
I'd like to know if there is a new designed lower ball joint. What is the difference?

Howdy from Texas, Welcome to LOST.

'Athens' brings visions of Plato and Aristotle walking down through streets arguing the meaning of knowledge, living history. Someday I want to see it.

One of the posts on the recall mentioned that the new ball joints have a extra silicon seal that helps retain grease, so it should last longer. They do not have a grease fitting - which would have been the best fix. I had mine replaced - but I still check every time I rotate the tires.

Post subject:  I replaced the LBJs
I just replaced the LBJs in my KJ (10/04). The difference in the whole front system is more than obvious. I feel no more the tak-tak under my left foot.
If any of you wonder :?: if it is worth to replace them, the answer is: Do it :arrow: as soon as possible!! I also think it lifts the front 1/8 of an inch. :D
