The cool picture to the left of the screen above or below your user name. You an animate them so that it will flash from one picture to another and things like that. look for a post that AdamIsAdam has and you will see a cool one. Later...Clint

THANKS! HEY, LOOKIE AT ME. I've got a cool animated avatar. (Now don't let DMX see it or they'll want their money back for any warranty work that comes their way!) (Knock wood)

Got em from Whitney, they had the cheapest price at the time. They're about 27" long, 14.5" wide at the rear and 10.5" wide at the front. They sit about 1.75" high.

While I intend to donate to keep this great site alive, can we send in our own animations?
I use PSP to build animated avatars for my flight sim buddies.
If not, thats cool.

Yes you can use and make your own avatars. We were helping the guys that did not know how to make their own. Please feel free to make and use you own avatars.

I need to thank Kathy for mine; she took the sequence at The Crack in Moab. All I did was some stupid computer tricks to make it animate.

For those of use even more handicapped without advanced technology, can we submit 3 pics (jpg) at regular size? When I shrink them to regulation size with my cheap program, I can't make anything out. I have my current avatar looking sharp, but only thanks to Sue's generosity with her time and software.

Question. If I have a CarDomain page can I use a pic from them for my avatar? and if so how do I do it?
I am on here all the time and feel left out not having one.

JeepJunky33, go to your profile page (linked at top of the LOST page by clicking on the word "Profile").

Scroll down to the bottom of that page and you'll see "Link to off-site Avatar:Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to." and a text-entry field to the right of that text.

Enter the URL of your Cardomain pict into the text-entry box and hit the "Submit" radio button.

*IMPORTANT* Make sure that the pict you link to is 150 pixels by 150 pixels maximum, file size 3kb mac, and resolution should be 72 DPI.

Now how do I change the size of it? Do I change it on a program on my comp. and then put the pic on my cardomain page, and then use it?
