I didn't see a topic started on this yet. I am in the market for a KJ and I was wondering what are some problem areas for them? Is thhere anythingthat should be checkout before the purchase? What can I expect to spend anually on matienence? thanks |

Make sure all recalls have been completed. Especially the ball joints. Maintenance shouldn't be a problem. Terry |

Libby's are GREAT cars!!! Ball Joints, make sure they have been fixed. IF you are getting one for mileage reasons, look elsewhere. These are vehicles tht have a family history for OFF ROAD USE. They may look like a good grocery getter, but they are not the best at MPG. That being said. you came to the right place to get tips on how to make it a little better or more off road use, sorry i almost forgot! |
