I've done some search's, came up with nothing about a fuel filter? Doesnt every vehicle have one? I'd like to replace it if possible.

It's on top of the gas tank,the tank needs to be dropped a few inches to replace it,some of the older KJ's had a access door above it,not sure about the '06's(pain in the butt either way doing it).The fuel filters on the KJ are considered lifetime filters but I don't buy that and replaced mine at 30,000 miles,since our filters also have the pressure regulator built in they are pricy,when I got mine it was like $130 for it,haven't found anyother place that carries then but the dealer.Someone else said awhile back that some autoparts stores have them but I haven't found one yet(checked-autozone,checkers,advanceauto,napa,and carquest with no luck).It's a pain to change but I'm due for another change in about 6000 miles myself(hitting 60,000 soon).
