Hello everybody. I am new to the KJ forums. I just purchased a used 2005 Liberty Rocky Mountain edition yesterday. This is my very first Jeep. I did alot of research and I have to say all the info on this forum has been very helpful. So far I love the Jeep. I will be using it as an everyday driver in Wisconsin, but will someday hope to take it to it's limits and go off-roading, if I can keep the wife out of it. :D Glad to be a member of the Jeep family.

Good luck keeping the wife out. Our KJ's can get addicting pretty fast. Welcome!

I'm new to the forums. I thought I'd just say hi. I am looking to get a CRD to replace the Subaru gasser (we got a lemon POS), and have two vehicles burning home-brewed biodiesel. I've enjoyed reading about the Liberty -- so far it sounds like a good vehicle and I'm looking forward to driving one.

Howdy, good to see so many folks who love the KJ. I've had mine for 6 years and still LOVE the lil' girl. Only racked up 51,000 miles on her as of yesterday, but they have been some fun miles. :D . If you think you like your Libby now, try driving her once she's paid off!!! Now all those payments can go to getting her TOTALLY TRICKED!!!! Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning a lotta good info on these forums. Keep rollin'!!!

Not sure about Jeep etiquette yet as I just got my first Jeep. I have 2004 Jeep Liberty 3.7l V6 4x4 and its been great so far.

I do have a couple of questions that perhaps some of those well versed in the LOST forums can suggest a thread?

1: Can you recommend a Wheel and Tire combo that is good on and off road?

2. Are there any software upgrades that you recommend to help performance and fuel economy?

Welcome! For the tire/wheel combo, the crager soft 8's look good, fit and can take a beating. As far as the tires...what kind of stuff are you going to be playing in? Post up in the general or tire section and you'll get some good responses.

Welcome Jim! That's a nice looking Libby, but I've always had a thing for those graphite fender flares and bumpers 8) I'm sure you'll be able to find lots of info on the site, and don't forget to check into the XJ/MJ/Comanchesection and offer up whatever knowledge you may be able to.

Thanks for the welcome. I think the flares & the rims are what hooked her. JIM.

I"m kind of fond of the black Freedoms. No reason. 8) It's nice to see what one looks like clean. Have fun here and please check on into the other sections to share what you've done to your XJ's.

I was at a shop here in Colorado called Trucks USA anyway I showed up to look at some toys and I saw parked out front a real nice lifted CRD I could see what year but walked into the shop. As a gent was talking to the counter man I poked around and heard he was ordering an ARB front bumper when i saw him walk out and climb into the CRD I walked out and asked if he had ever heard of LOST. He sad yeah but thought you had to pay up front to even chat with anybody. Well I set him straight how freindly everybody was and gave him my e-mail and said if wanted help signing up E-mail me and I walk him thru it. He already had Some Jeep Jamborees stckers on his Jeep so I told him they were not that strict and any Jeep was welcome but he would find a whole group of CRD owners who would be happy to swapp stories with him. My good deed for the day is accomplished. :D :D

Just picked up our 2006 red Jeep Liberty Limited CRD. I don't like all the Libmited 'stuff' but my wife does

So far it lools like a lot of fun. We picked up a used one in California, the only way they can come here. We'll see if the local dealers can handle it. We expect to tow a small trailer so we will be following towing issues.

Hello everybody,
I got my '06 CRD last fall but just discovered L.O.S.T (is that an oxymoron?) a few days ago. Just thought I should probably introduce myself. Looks like a great site, and it's really cool that you've got people from all over the world on here!
