i have misfire codes on 2,4,6 and if i try to go over 40 the rev limiter kicks in. CEL/MIL light is flashing or always on. trying to get it in for service next week, any suggestions before hand? i have always had a problem with the #6 misfireing and oil on the plug threads.

New plugs all around? And/or Coils? I had to replace my #1 Ignition Coil because it was mis-firing.

i had to same problem last year. Had oil on plugs and injectors. Took it in three times and all three times had same problem. They ran test and said #1 #5 #6 were misifres while driving. They didnt know what was causing it after changing plugs and cleaning injectors twice. I finally went to wal-mart and got some fuel injector cleaner gas additive and ran it through one time. Since then the problem hasnt been back so I guess the cleaner i used worked.
