No.. Iso- Isolator pads... There are Upper ISO pads and Lower ISO pads... Goes between the rear springs and sping perches...

Huh? Anybody what? jsc7002 answered what an ISO was, those large rubber doughnut shaped pieces in the center bottom of the pic he posted.

Hockey pucks are, well, hockey pucks used as bump stops.

ISO pads give lift. Hockey pucks prevent too much articulation so you don't rip fenders off and ruin your shocks and springs. ISO pads go above and below the springs in the rear and hockey pucks are stacked and go inside the spring and are bolted to the lower spring perch.

Or are you referring to your ESP question?

Yes I do. You posted it right after someone posted an answer, with a question mark. So what are you asking?

Let me be clear... I saw someone respond (on a different forum) who posted "x2" as a response. I was simply asking the question, "what does x2 mean?". I though since this is the "acronym forum", I could get a simple definition. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh man, I am sorry. I feel like a jerk.

X2 means, times 2, meaning "I second that" or "I agree".

Sorry man, I owe you a favor or something. I couldn't understand for the life of me why you were asking X2. Sometimes I am dumb.

Thank you for the answer though. I am still new to this acronym game. I guess I'm old school and still enjoy writing out the entire word.

Sorry again. I thought when you asked me what it meant, you were being smart or getting and e-attitude or something.

It used to mean Burchie, but I am afraid the definition has been expanded to include Inc as well. (and I am not talking in 3rd person there)

SEGR is a kit that some enterprising L.O.S.T. members (Turbo Tim, LocoCRD, UFO, to name a few) developed. You splice it into the wire bundle that goes to the ECU in your CRD. It tricks the engine computer into thinking that the EGR valve is working correctly when it is not, thus eliminating EGR flow into your intake.

There are many many posts about it in the "CRD. . . Love That Torque!" forum. As for what the acronym actually is, the EGR is for Exhaust Gas Recirculation, but I don't know if what the "S" is for has ever been actually determined. I have heard "Stop", "Synthetic", and "$$$$" all bandied about, however.

Thanks for answering me on this one. It has always puzzled me. I will read up on this.

I had a bit of a look around for a "Jeep Terminology" thread or something like that, but didn't come across one.

If there is one, I wanted to propose several additions, which have come onto the scene more recently and may not be known to everyone.

DIGGERIZE [dig-er-ahyz]

–verb

To DIGGERIZE ones Jeep means to apply or have applied a coating of a textured automotive bedliner product to the entire vehicle, thereby enhancing the appearance and resistance to trail rash and shopping mall door dings.

Side effects include additional weight, incredulous stares and rendering of the factory paint warranty null and void.

Usage:
I love how you diggerized that KK!

Origin:
2009; digger + -ize

Related forms:
digg-er-i-za-tion, noun
digg-er-iz-er, noun

BUDKETIZE [buhd-kee-tahyz]

–verb

1. To BUDKETIZE ones Jeep means to inadvertently drain all or most of the lubricating fluid (commonly known as motor oil) from one's engine block utilizing the forces of gravity and pressure, until such point as the internal engine components self-destruct and render themselves beyond repair.

Also may result in copious quantities of smoke, forum humiliation and large repair bills.

Origin:
2009; BUDKE + -IZE

Usage:
Dude, you're engine is budketized!

Related forms:

bud-ke-ti-za-tion, noun
bud-ke-ti-zer, noun

Special thanks to KeswickDave for taking the time to create these :jester:
