I put together a list of acronyms or terms you may see used in the forum.
Acronym List
4HI - 4 Wheel Drive High
4LO - 4 Wheel Drive Low
4PT - 4 Wheel Part Time
2WD,4x2 - Two Wheel Drive
4WD,4x4 - Four Wheel Drive
Approach Angle - The approach angle is the angle drawn from front of the tires to the front bumper.
AT - Automatic Transmission or All Terrain
ATF - Automatic Transmission Fluid
AWD - All Wheel Drive
BCM - Body Control Module
BFH - Big Freekin Hammer
Breakover angle - Angle formed from the center of the bottom of body to the contact point of the front and rear tire.
Bump - To "bump" a topic back to the top of the forum
CB - Citizens Band - two way radio
Clevis lift - The "clevis" is the lower mounting bracket for the front struts. It holds about 1.5" of the bottom of the strut. It (the strut)can be adjusted/raised some without a major dis-assembly effort being involved.

CPS - Crankshaft Position Sensor
CRD - Common Rail Diesel - Diesel Engine used in Liberty's
DC - DaimlerChrysler Corporation
Departure Angle - The Departure Angle is measured from the back of the rear wheels to the rear bumper.
DTC - Diagnostic Trouble Code
ECU - Engine Control Unit
EFI - Electronic Fuel Injection
EGR - Exhaust Gas Recirculation - An emissions lowering technology
EVIC - Electronic Vehicle Information Center
Four banger - 4 cylinder engine
HP - Horsepower
IFS - Independent Front Suspension
IIRC - If I Recall/Remember Correctly
IRS - Independent Rear Suspension
KJ - Chrysler's Model Designation Code for the Liberty
LBJ - Lower Ball Joint
LCA - Lower Control Arm
L.O.S.T. - Liberty Owners Special Team
Lowered KJ - KJs were lowered 3/4" after April 2, 2002. This was done to help lower the chances of accidental roll-overs.
LSD - Limited Slip Differential
MOPAR - Chrysler's Part Department
MT - Manual Transmission or Mud Terrain
OD - Overdrive
OTIS - Overhead Trip Information System (not really sure)
PM - Private Message
Pre-Lowered - Early 2002 model KJs were 3/4" taller than lowered KJs, they were manufactured before April 2, 2002.
Rennie - Short Name for the Renegade Model
RWD - Rear Wheel Drive
Select-Trac - Jeep's Full-Time 4WD System
SFA - Solid Front Axle
SRA - Solid Rear Axle
TC - Transfer Case or Torque Converter
TPS - Throttle Position Sensor
TSB - Technical Service Bulletin
UBJ - Upper Ball Joint
