Post subject:  reading the forums

hey guys, yes i am a newbie to jeep so bear with me while i ask these questions. is there any way to tell if you have a locker with out opening her up or trying to burn out? do all renegades have same ratio diff?i read from one guy about 456 ratio, pretty slow for hiway if you go to it.are trannys shifting sluggish or slow common, how do you fix? anyone have a low speed growl coming from heater motor, where is heater motor? only have 45,000 mi on it so i hope not serious problems.

If you have a LSD, you should have a green sticker on your axle tube.

If you have an auto, you have 3.73's unless some one already regeared it

4.10 is the highest a KJ can re gear to.

How long ago was it that the tranny was serviced?

Heater motor wise, it is right under the glove box....
