My father in law just bought a Travel trailer and it weighs 4200lbs, I have the tow package rated at 5000lbs. My question is should I do him the favor of pulling it since he is at work and cannot? I'm just a little nervous since i've never pulled anything THAT heavy in the KK. I imagine it'll be fine in tow/haul mode. But I'm still uneasy.

Feedback?

I'd only pull it if it has brakes and can be wired to your brakes. No brakes, no pull. As far as the weight, you should be good to go, just keep speed down a bit.

You'll be fine just keep it at a safe speed.

It should have electric brakes that work off your break lights. I don't know about your setup (KK) but with a KJ you shut off the over drive for towing. My camper weighs around that much and I don't have any troubles with it.
