i'm wanting to pound down the pinch weld, but not sure how to. i've searched for how to threads on this but i cannot find the answer i'm looking for. so this will do...

i've already cut the piece of the inner fender well that covers the pinch weld, on both sides; and also cut 1/2" of the bottom front flare (the side closest to the driver door off on both sides), why? well, because i got carried away (thinking about "stuff") when i was working on the driver side. since i plan on buying renegade flares, it really doesn't matter.

okay here's the question, how do i pound the pinch weld? from what i could find and interpret, either you hammer the pinch weld towards the jeep (making it flat)...or pound the pinch weld in towards the jeep (like towards the interior). it would really help if someone out there could post pictures of how the pounded their pinch weld. i cannot find the picture i'm looking for that will help me. every picture i've found was one where someone did it neatly and didn't show the whole pinch weld pounded down. there's nothing wrong with neatness though.
i'll admit my cuts are not neat, but like i said i plan on buying new flares (and inner fender wells).

Hammer the weld to fold it flat towards the engine compartment.

Get a big hammer and have fun!

When I pounded mine over I made 1 cut across, in the middle. The top half I pounded one way and the bottom the other way. That tied up the weld real good!
