Im sure this has been posted b4 but.........................

I would like a little wider stance right now but Im not lifted, so would I see any wider stance with 1/4 or 1/2 wheel spacers? I think that 1" wheel spacers would be to much for being non-lifted. I don't really do that much offroading and I could always remove them if I were to offroad it again. Would there been problems with them being cheap made or coming apart on the road?

Thanks!

I would think you would end up with alot of rubbing issues if anything i would go with the 1/4'' ones cause i have a 2.5'' lift with 1'' spacers and 245/75 tires and have rubbing at full lock and a wee bit while offroad :2cents:

Another thing i would go cheap either

Anything less then 1.25" I believe you will need to install longer wheel studs. Those slip on 1/4" type spacers are illegal in most states and no shop will touch your tires with them installed, major safety issue unless you install longer wheel studs for proper amount of thread engagement between the wheel stud and lugnut.

Ok well I was just looking for a little wider stance. If I got to go through that much trouble then I aint even going to mess with them.

Difficult to find wheel adapters more than 3/16" or less than 1" thick.
3/16 inch spacers just get sandwiched between the brake drum and the wheel.
1" and greater need the room for the hub nuts as your bolting the spacer on, then bolting the wheel to the spacer.

Here are some pictures of my 03 with 1 inch spacers and stock wheels back before it was lifted. I think it looked like the tires filled out the wheel wells better and gave it a more aggressive stance. the tires do not come out farther than the top of the flares but they are about even. It seemed to even be a more stable ride after installing them.

I put the 1.25" spacers on mine when I lifted it and really love the look of the wheels actually filling out the wheel wells.

I had 1.25 spydertrax but it was a little too wide for my taste (I am lifted). I did see these, new wheel studs and hubcentric! Maybe a little more work than you want but they'd get your wheels out a bit.

5-20mm available (just shy of an inch)
