Hi all,

I know this is not a very Jeepish question, but I have a limited 2005 CRD liberty with bluetooth, XM, 6 CD changer, and DVD player. (It just sounds way too nice for a Jeep). I got it for a deal, and wasn't really looking for the limited model. Anyways, I tell you all of this because I would like to listen to my DVD player (probably never will happen - but I have a zero deductible currently). When I purchased the car, I knew the Uconnect was not functioning. Anyways, I took that into the dealership, and now my XM selection on the head unit has disappeared. Originally needed that to listen to DVDs. So they fixed one problem at the expense of another.

Moreover, I would like to wire in a aux input port for my phone, but that is a lower priority than listening to my copy of "Be Cool" that came with the purchase of the car. I guess my question is, does the XM radio plug into the back of the head unit at the same place the bluetooth is supposed to connect? I know that I can not get an Ipod port because that would compete with the XM port. Is there an easy way to see if the dealership removed the XM unit from the car? Any setup with the head unit to scan inputs? Thanks for the info.

I'm a little confused. Were you actually listening to XM, or using the XM function to listen to DVDs that were in the changer?

The latter of the two. I could care less about satellite radio. It was a flop anyways.

Is the DVD player separate from the 6 disc changer?
