There is a little move you have to make to get to N and 4LO:
Once you are in 4HI, shift your transmission to neutral and coast at about 3-5mph. Push the T-case shift lever toward the passenger seat if a Left Hand drive Liberty or pull toward you if you have a Right Hand Drive. The T-case will now be in neutral.
Once in Neutral, shift to 4LO by pulling the lever all the way up - you'll probably hear some grinding noise as the gears mesh but that is normal. The shift pattern looks something like this:
[Front of vehicle] I - 2HI I - 4HI \ - Neutral I - 4LO
As a reminder...DO NOT drive your CommandTrac in 4HI on dry or high-traction surfaces, even wet pavement. The CommandTrac does not have an internal differential and so any turns on high-traction surfaces will result in driveline binding and could very well severely damage your driveline.
