| Post subject: | ignition coil connector |
Ok i have a problem in #5 that i believe is caused by the ignition coil connector. I pulled the connector off the coil and looked in it and the wire closest to the firewall is pushed back inside and messed up really bad so i need to get inside the connector to replace that wire. Does anyone know how to open up the connector to pull the wires out of it? I don't want to break it since it is s darn hard to find another. Thanks |

Is it not possible to pull on that wire with tweezers or long-nosed pliers? Most of these type of on-plug coils that I have seen have the connector molded in place and the only way to open them is to cut it open carefully with a box-cutter, fix the problem and re-seal everything with epoxy glue! |
