Well my factory OEM CD player is dead, the radio still works though. So I'm in the market for a good after-market model radio/CD player for my KJ. I would stick with a OEM model from eBay, but I have heard that radios for my model KJ don't play burnt CD's. I never got to test this out because my CD player was broke when I purchased it. Any economical suggestions for an after-market replacement? Also am I correct in that the OEM '04 radios don't play burnt CD's? |

LOL Well I guess I'm showing my age now... if you can suggest a MP3 compatible radio then I'm game as well, just so long as its affordable. |

go online and shop around. almost any single din will work for your kj. the only thing that would be limiting you is the steering wheel controls if you have them and the stock integration. there's plenty of kj head unit topics on this forum and at least one of them will help you out. |

Try Crutchfield. They are a major retailer for audio. Great prices for certain items and they sell the steering wheel integrator with the radio controls. Once you find a radio you like and or speakers on Crutchfield check the prices on Amazon. could be an even better deal. I just did this for speakers and radio. The nice thing about the radio from Crutchfield is that over $119, they give you the install kit, electrical plugs etc. Saves a bit of money! |
