Good morning, does anyone know if there are wires running between the metal box bumper and the plastic cover. There is roughly a 3 inch space between the 2. I'm doing some drilling without taking the bumper off and would like to know if there are wires to look out for. The holes will be roughly where people mount the jk light bar bracket as seen on this forum.
Thank you
Steve

There are no wires in that location, if I understand your description correctly. I've had my bumper cover off several times to install tow hooks, and later, AtTheHelm's front recovery system. The only wires I had to disconnect were the wires going to the turn signals and side marker lights, and those wires were not in the middle area. There are no wires between the bumper skin and the center metal crossmember, in any event. I cannot say if there are any wires behind the center metal crossmember, if you are drilling through that.
