2.8 L you mean

Common problems are the heater core gets clogged up by users not using the correct HOAT anti-freeze but you say you have flushed it properly?

Is the relay for the Viscous Heater plugged in? It helps to heat up the cabin a bit faster but some owners like myself have pulled the relay out...I get no snow here!

The control of the heating inside is done by a Blend Door Assembly which is basically a stepper motor moving the valve to various positions as selected by the switches on the console. The selection of which vents will get the airflow is done by a thin vacuum pipe from the vacuum motor to inside the cabin...make sure this pipe has not come off or has split. If it comes off you will only get air coming through the defrosting vents below the windscreen!

You can download the 2005 Service Manual here....will give you the Theory of Operation on how the Blend Door works, you can also download the section: Export 2.5_2.8 Diesel as it gives some advice on the Export CRDs which have some differences...such as the EGR method used...to the USA models.
