May 19th, 2007 is the annual free day at the OHV park.
There will be plenty of trail guides for all levels of drivers.
Chime in if any one is interested.

Do you know if this OHV park requires a "firestik"/ "flag" ?

No flag required.
I may not be able to make it. The other day my dad found out he has prostrate cancer and the doc wants to have it removed on Friday.

Sorry about your dad. Hope things turn out well. Priorities first... maybe you'll still make it.

It was good. The rain made it fun but yet difficult to climb on the steeper hills. I was the only KJ on the trails; I got L.O.S.T. within the trails and met up with two Cherokee drivers from Duluth. I surprised them with what the KJ could do. We took the most difficult trail out. I had to get witched out once "due to the mud and steep hill".

Donoskj, do you know of any trails closer to the Twin Cities?

Sorry, but due to the "Greenies" all we pretty much have is Gilbert and a few fire roads up north.
During the last session our bureaucrats closed Spider Lake to off highway vehicles.
There are some private land wheeling opportunities close to the cities but you need to be a member of the MN4WDA.
Check it out, get involved and help in the fight to save our trails!
