I just sent out a Mass PM to all MN members i could find. if you didnt get a PM from me im sorry but here is how it goes: Would you be in? i have been talking to Maximum Carnage a lot and i think we should set up at meet. even if its just like at MOA in the parking lot just to try to bring us modded KJ's and KK's and other Jeeps together. i would really like to do this some time soon. and maybe try to find somewhere to go play. but i think even if we all just meet at MOA and got lunch checked out each others rigs and had a good time it would bring MN jeeps a lot closer. i used to do this with my VW club almost every month. i was thinking we could set up a monthly meet and then when it gets warmer we could have our meets and then caravan to gilbert or something like that. http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/ohv/map.html these are all the trails i could find and i think if we all just meet up we could do a lot more group trail rides and have a lot of fun. Let me know what you think and get back to me. i really hope we can make this work. SO.... I really want to get an MN meet together. i think it would be a great way to meet everyone and make a tight community and make it more than an internet thing. like i said i used to do this all the time with my VW club. we would meet for lunch or dinner and then go cruise. i know this is a lot harder for an ORV club because who wants to drive on a paved road right? so i figured that since no one posts here i would send out a PM and spark some of you into meeting up. with all that said please post up or PM me if you want to do this and when works best for you. IE what day of the week, time, ect. then we can go from there. i really think if we can make this a once a month thing it can really grow. so bring your stock or your rock Jeeps and lets have a good time. |

I live by st cloud. Once we get responses with locations, then finding a place for a meet kind of centralized would get things started. I'm in for the meet. |

SO from those who have posted it looks like it would have to be SMACK DAB in the middle of Minneapolis or ST.Paul. that is in-order to take the 2 furthest people and meet in the middle. So here are the 2 ideas i have come up with. 1. we have meets alternate between a few spots every month. I.E. to have one meets closer to one side of the cities one month and then the other side the next. so then if you are the furthest driver one month you are closer the next. 2. we meet downtown (personally i really dont like that idea) one because of a lack of parking and two because who wants to bring ORV's downtown. 3. we just set a meet location and stick to it and if you have to drive a long way then to bad :p lol 4. we dont have any meets because everyone is kind of scattered and no one wants to drive (i hope thats not true) So once again i am gunna ask to hear from YOU MN JEEPS.... WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO? i mean really its all up to you guys. whatever you guys want we can make happen. we just have to come up with something that works for everyone and get it done. please feel free to add in any ideas you have and as always these meets would be open to anyone from anywhere. you of course will be more than welcome to bring friends, family whoever. and they are more than welcome to bring any make or model of car/truck/JEEP.[/u] |

I can’t think of anywhere we can meet. But I’d shoot for either the 21st or 28th of February. I’d like to do a roll call of who would be coming but I guess that all depends on where we meet.
