anyone want to donate their garage/yard?

we could have a meet where everyone could BBQ and work on their Jeeps? i have a lift kit i need put it....just another idea. of course it would be bring your own goodies to grill and the person donating their space would be getting free dibs on everything :p and would not have to drive anywhere till we went wheeling.

I don't know how far I can go. I guess it depends on what gas is around that time.

I have had an extremely tough week. Going to be tough for a while.
My godfather/Uncle is in the hospital. He just found out he has a form of cancer.

I will try to keep up with this post as much as I can.

150 miles sounds okay.

and MNKK best wishes and prayers. dont worry about checking back to much.

i am hoping to have a plan by the end of the 1st week of feb. and then we can plan for the last weekend in feb.

Yeah i think it would be a great idea to get together. I can't believe with how many Libby's i see that there isn't more enthusiasts on board here. Maybe a lot of "lurkers". LOL

it took me awhile to find this board....we need decals for the mid west. i don't think there is enough advertisement here.

maybe someone could have something ready for meet time?

so i was thinking that its cold.....land of 10,000 lakes....hmmm...

maybe for this meet we should meet out by a large lake. go to a local eatery and then head out on to the lake? that would be some fun off roading without the travel to the north to much.

anyone down for that?

That would be "cool". I'd be down with that. Name the lake. Decals would be awesome!!!!

need to find something big west of the metro. right now the only one i could think of that is HUGE is lake Minnetonka. but that would be quite the drive from SD. there are lots of good local resturaunts and places to stay if we wanted to make a weekend out of it.

Another big one is Lake Koronis, Paynesville(i know it's in my back yard) or Lake Minnewaska, south of Alexandria. They are a little closer to SD. Just throwing some stuff out there to make it more convenient to those in the Dakotas.

Post subject:

ok so what do others think of these ideas? i know minnetonka is heavily patrolled and lots of traffic some times so probably not the best. what about those other lakes?

please others HELP US!

PS 05KJ thanks for your help can you post like a google maps of where those lakes are? im a visual person and im sure it would motivate more people.
