Just got my EVIC put in yesterday. I can't believe how awesome it is. It only took about an hour and a half to put in. Cutting the headliner is incredibly scary (and tedious i might add) with the thought of one slip up and well you can imagine. The dome lights actually seem brighter and more focused on each of the front seats. By the way the first thing i did after install was de-select the rolling locks feature. Maybe i am old school but i hated that one. LOL |

Did the same thing in mine but i had trouble with the headliner. Did you have to install a bracket or was yours there? |

Had to get the bracket. Apparently 2005+ Jeep decided to cut costs and not provide one. Past years it was already there. But at least we had the temp sensor. LOL |

Congrats on the install. I think about putting one in quite a bit. Was all the wiring up in there for you? |

Get a mounting bracket from the dealer. About 25-30 bucks. You'll need one. Mine EVIC came with a connector and few inches of wire. I just extended it with my own wire. Not all EVICS are sold with the connector so you need to make sure. Mine came from a 05 Limited. Honestly I made it way harder in my head than it turned out to be. I will post a couple of pics later. |

Got mine off Ebay. Did lots of reading first. Then did mine over a one hour lunch. And then lots of vacuuming after work. I made a lot of little headliner pieces when i cut the big hole. Definitely didnt want to go too big with the hole. LOL |
