Well it finally happened...those that were on the Gilbert run in January probably heard that I am getting ready to leave for the military soon. I got THE call today. The date isn't set but I will have one on Thursday... I would like one last run with you guys and whoever else wants to show up before I leave (doesn't look like I will be able to wheel for at least 4 months :( ). When I get done I will be able to afford lots of parts.

Spider Lake won't work because they aren't open to us year round? Maybe Gilbert again?

I'm up for Gilbert again. Since I didn't really get to wheel my rig the last time, LOL.

My KJ will be out of the shop next week as good as new. Let me know when you want to head up. Let's see how many we can get together for your 4-month farewell trip.

yes. Gilbert would be great.

I got a job in Idaho at Micron Tech starting in June. I would like to do as much as possible before then! :P

I will talk to my buddy to see if we can use his cabin. Free lodging would be cool. His place is 40 minutes north of Gilbert on a private island. The ice is thick enough to drive on up there (Lake Vermillion). If anybody has snowmobiles they would be welcome there.

Sorry gang, I won't have a free weekend in awhile.
I'll keep watching the post just in case.
Later
Mark

well we may have free lodging at the cabin the weekend of the 24th-26th. It would be cool to get everyone staying in the same place...My buddy and I are working out the specifics if that opens up anything to anybody. There is no electricity at this place (its on an island) but there will be heat and no neighbors. Bedspace is limited but sleeping bags will be more then welcome if we get it...

It's not looking good for me until April 15th & 16th if you all wanna think about it let me know. I have some studio work coming up and a bunch of gigs which all means... a rear locker!

well it doesn't look like many folks are interested in a gilbert run...

Maybe we could find something local? I may know of a mud pit if you guys just want to do a local/half day thing...

Not to bring up threads from the dead, but how is spiderlake? Is it just a trail, or is there some stuff thats fun. By trail I mean a dirt/mud road. I can't seem to find anything on it other than their website. and that doesnt tell much.
