Just writing to say hi I,m a new lost member and was surprises to see a chapter somewhat close to me. Would like to wheel with other members but 400 miles 1 way hurts the pocket book at 2.35/gal for a 15 mpg rig. not to mention the drive through eastern ND :? very flat and boring.

whereabouts in ND are you? our trail rides are generally in Gilbert or Spider Lake which are four hours from the twin cities. Depending on where in ND you're at it might be the same. Plan on a good weekend with this group. Welcome and please sign the guest book...

 Heh Heh I just get a chuckle at how people measure distance in time instead of miles. Generaly I hear that from city slickers. But having covered a lot of northern Minn. in my travels and knowing about the woods up there I have a pretty good idea of the area. That would be about 300miles east of me or about 6 hours.

Hey, I'm from Fargo. I gotta get in on a run sometime, I dont really know any good places to wheel around here. I've just been driving around in dirt fields since that's all there is to do in my immediate area :?

Sorry, but due to the "Greenies" all we pretty much have is Gilbert and a few fire roads up north.
During the last session our bureaucrats closed Spider Lake to off highway vehicles.
There are some private land wheeling opportunities close to the cities but you need to be a member of the MN4WDA.
Check it out, get involved and help in the fight to save our trails!

Got any good places you wheel? The national grasslands to the south are pretty cool. Otherwise I'm usually going to construction sites out of town looking for big dirt piles to climb.
