My mother-in law needs new shocks. I won't let her pay anyone to do something I can do. I had the dealer quote me $66 for each front and $56 for each rear shock. Has anyone gotten a better price?

Also, she thinks that this will solve all the noise that we hear while she drives.... is there anything else I should look to replace?

Also, the one day while driving the power steering to the left seemed to quit. Is this a GC problem?
