My girlfriend has a 97 grand cherokee and I'd really like to get her to come out with us (driving instead of being a passanger) but the truck does not have any recovery points. Do any of you kind fellows have used tow hooks for real cheap? I don't want to buy them new because I think it's silly (it's technically her parents truck and I don't want to spend any more money than I have to on it).

The ZJ towhooks are particularly expensive. They mount inside the bumper crossmember with a pretty complex (for a towhook at least) mounting bracket. I paid 75 bucks for mine when I bought them.
