Just completed the Warn Hub Conversion on my ZJ and loving it. Very easy install and NO MORE HUB BEARINGS... I was on my 5th set. Yea I wheel the crap out of my stupid ZJ. All J Products did a great joib getting all the parts out to me as well as the rotors turned out . Also installed some of the new Mickey Thompson MTZs. When with the 35 X 12.50 X 15s. They are very quite on the road and I will be checking them out off road in a week to see if they work as well as the MT/Rs have . Later...Clint

I have had the MTZs in a 33" flavor for almost a year now, including driving on them out to Moab. They are quiet on road, do good in the snow and rain, and awesome off pavement. You will love them.

I guess you rotors finally showed up :) Install on the hub kit goes smooth if you have the right stuff and the axles ready to go.

Oh and I'll get those spare hubs for you and I ordered and split it with you.

Sounds like MOab would be a great place to test some hubs out....... I also found that NAPA carries these hubs as well...Not the hub conversion but just the hubs so that helps out as well when you are out in the middle of nowhere.

I still have an endless list of things I still want to add to the stupid ZJ. I am running a Ford 8.8 in the rear now and want to add the Super 88 kit along with a 4 to 1 kit in the 231. I will get around to it...Just time and money which seems hard to come by.

By the way...A ZJ looks dang good sitting on 35s. Stupid grandma mallcrawling Jeep.
Again thanks Quinn for getting all these parts for me. The rotors fit like a glove and the kit was a very easy install. You guys ROCK. Later...Clint

It is a set of real bearings like on a big truck. The hub bearings are a non serviceable bearings that are stcked side by side and can not take a lot of side load. The hub conversion spreads the bearings way to the outside and inside so it can take the side loads and abuse. You can also service them by just buy a couple of new bearings and install them. The new bearings are right at 20 bucks...The stock hub bearings at right at 500 bucks a set.
Another great feature is the front drive shaft is not turning when the hubs are not locked in...So the front drive shaft is not having to drag along if you dont have the hub conversion. You can run in true 2 wheel drive with the hub conversion and also even shift into low range in 2 wheel drive as well when you really dont need 4 wheel drive...just low range. Hope that helps. Later...Clint

AW MAN.......now another thing to add to my want list......
Seriously though.......
I have researched this a little bit. From my understanding it is a much easier task on your front axle VS. a TJ Rubicon with the Dana 44 (well so called 44).
Someone told me there was alot more to it (more parts)......
If Quinn had a kit...for a Rubicon dana 44....that would be very Cool 8)
Chime in Quinn..........

I think the Ruby lit has an upgraded hub and the larger axle u-joints. It would be very cool on that long Jeep of your Mike. Later...Clint

I believe the hub conversion works on the Rubi just the same as the D30. I'll check tommorrow. The new u-joints are 760's just like the rubicon, and they give you new outter axle shafts to mathc the new hubs. I just did mine about a month ago and it rocks!
