Rubicon Express!
3.5 kit will probably net 4"

RE 4.5 Long arm kit would really be the best way to go long term .... Big $$$ though.

No such thing as ZJ + 4" Lift = Cheap.

Others on the market, similar in function and price.

I have a associate, that's not an internet type person, asking what's a good 4" lift for off-roading the ZJ without breaking the bank.

My experience is :

4.5" short arm kit (rubicon express superflex) ROUGH on any bumps on or off the road. Lots of flex...putting lots of stress on the control arm bushings ect. Didn't really wheel it that hard and it was starting to tear up the bushings already.

4.5 Long Arm kit was the righ lift for me at that height I should have spent my money 1 time rather than 2x's.

If I was going to do it all over again with a ZJ I would have stayed at 3.5" short arms with 31 or 32's. Better over the road manners and still great offroad. And...I would have got a V8...ZJ's are a little to chubby for the 6cyl. for me.

Hope this helps

Jeff
