I just got a new toy last Friday.

94 Cherokee Laredo 4x2, auto, 4.0

Now to decide what parts I want to swap with my 85 Cherokee to make 1 good rig! Trying to decide between pulling the manual trans & 4x4 front end from the 85 & putting into the 94 (is that even posible?). Or pulling the 94 engine, and putting it into the 85.

Over all both rigs are in good shape. The 85 has a tired engine. The 94 has a history of auto-trans issues. What-cha all think?

Keep the Cherokee and swap in a used/rebuilt I6. Less work than swapping in a whole new drivetrain in the 94 GC.

After looking at stuff, I think I agree. I like the old beast, 210,000 miles +. It has kinda grown on me. Thanks for the input.
