still downloading the manual but need to R&R the heater core on my 02 grand cherokee and wondered if any of you guys had done it on that vehicle before

Since your pulling the hole dash I would replace the blend door and recirc door while you are in there assuming you have dual climate control.

yeah i'm kinda crying inside, don't really want to do the work

saved like 100 bucks on the core tho

i'll look into the door/act parts and see if i can pick those up too

im doing it right now...what a PITA!!!...the only thing hold me up right now ithe the hoses off the heater core...i cant get a grip on the claps to relase the hoses...im think of doing it right at the front by the water pump. At least i can get a grip on it there..

i recommend some foam tape and plenty of room to work... http://www.wjjeeps.com has an ok write up on it that may help you out...

i didn't disconnect the the tranny electrical inside i would recommend it to get the dash frame out of the way...new clasp is another thing that was reccomended to me..

Label and zip lock bags are your friends...i should be done but like i said the darn hose clamps are holding me up!!! :furious:
